These buckets are ideal for DIY flower arrangements, small weddings, family celebrations, workshops, or anyone who enjoys working with flowers themselves. You’ll have the freedom to arrange them your own way, whether that’s relaxed jam jars, generous vases, or simple table arrangements.
Because our flowers are seasonal Irish flowers, the contents will change throughout the year, making each bucket unique and rooted in the rhythm of the growing season.
Freshly cut. Sustainably grown. A true slice of the Irish flower field, ready for your hands.

Make it personal: Seasonal bouquets make thoughtful gifts — their natural variation tells a story of place and time.
Ask about varieties: Not all flowers are available year-round; some stems may be replaced with equally beautiful seasonal alternatives if out of bloom.
Pair with gifts: Irish honey or beeswax candles from Buzzing Meadows Farm make lovely companions for floral gifts. -
Irish cut flowers follow the rhythm of the seasons — and that’s part of what makes them so special:
Spring (April–May): Tender, early blooms emerge as days lengthen.
Summer (June–August): The garden bursts with colour, fragrance and diversity.
Autumn (September–first frost): Rich tones, textural seedheads and late blooms extend the season.
Because we don’t force blooms out of season, our bouquets reflect what is naturally flourishing at the time — and no two arrangements are ever exactly the same. This variety means every bouquet feels unique and perfectly attuned to the Irish growing season.

When you choose seasonal bouquets from Buzzing Meadows Farm, you’re choosing more than just flowers — you’re choosing:
✔ Freshness & longevity. Our flowers are cut and gathered by hand right on the farm, meaning they spend minimal time off the plant before reaching you — which often extends vase life compared with imported stems that are harvested days or even weeks before sale.
✔ Support for local agriculture. Your purchase helps sustain small-scale flower farming in Ireland, keeping money in rural communities and ensuring growers are able to continue doing what they love.
✔ Lower environmental impact. Locally grown flowers travel shorter distances, reducing transport emissions and cold-chain energy use compared with blooms flown or trucked in from abroad.
✔ Biodiversity & sustainability. Our cut flowers are grown using organic, no-dig methods that build soil health and support pollinators like bees and butterflies. These sustainable practices help nurture a thriving ecosystem right here in County Clare.

Once you get your flowers home, here’s how to make the most of your Irish-grown blooms:
1. Unwrap gently. Remove packaging and inspect stems.
2. Trim the stems. With a clean, sharp pair of scissors or knife, cut about 1–2 cm off each stem at a 45° angle. This opens up a larger surface area for water uptake and helps prolong vase life.
3. Use a clean vase. Fill with fresh, cool water and add any flower food provided (if included).
4. Refresh daily. Change the water every day or every other day and re-trim stems slightly. Remove any foliage that dips below the water line to keep the water cleaner for longer.
5. Keep cool. Place your arrangement away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and fruit bowls (ethylene gas from ripening fruit can shorten flower life). With this care, locally grown, freshly cut flowers can stay vibrant and fragrant for days to a week or more, depending on variety and weather conditions.
