Our cut flower gift bouquets are made with the seasons, not against them. Grown and arranged at Buzzing Meadows Farm, each bouquet is created using fresh, Irish-grown flowers, picked at their best and gathered by hand on our farm. We choose varieties that thrive in our local climate and plan each arrangement around what the season naturally offers, resulting in bouquets that reflect the colours, textures and scents of the moment while supporting biodiversity and pollinators.

From the field to your door every stem is handled with care — harvested at peak freshness, conditioned and thoughtfully arranged. Whether you’re sending a seasonal gift or treating your home, our bouquets carry the character of the West of Ireland and the careful stewardship of a small, pollinator-safe farm.

We specialise in seasonal Irish cut flowers, grown outdoors using organic, no-dig methods. Our flowers are chosen not just for their beauty, but for their scent, movement, and ability to support pollinators. This means every bouquet reflects what’s naturally flowering at the time — no imports, no artificial forcing, and no two bouquets ever exactly the same.

Our style is relaxed and meadow-inspired, combining focal blooms, airy stems, and textured foliage into bouquets that feel generous, natural, and full of life. These are sustainably grown flowers, rooted in place and season, and arranged with a traditional hand and a thoughtful eye.

Perfect as gift bouquets, for birthdays, thank-yous, celebrations, or simply to brighten a home, our flowers offer something honest and lasting — a true taste of the Irish growing season.

Each bouquet is wrapped simply and sustainably, ready to gift or enjoy at home.

Seasonal Irish flowers. Sustainably grown. Hand-picked and arranged at Buzzing Meadows Farm.

  • Once your bouquet arrives, here’s how to make the most of your Irish-grown blooms:

    1. Unwrap gently. Remove all packaging and allow the flowers to relax.

    2. Trim the stems. Using clean, sharp scissors or a knife, cut about 1–2 cm off each stem at a 45° angle. This helps the flowers take up water more effectively.

    3. Use a clean vase. Fill with fresh, cool water and add flower food if provided.

    4. Refresh regularly. Change the water every day or two and re-trim the stems slightly to keep them fresh. Remove any leaves that sit below the waterline.

    5. Choose the right spot. Display your flowers away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and fruit bowls, as ripening fruit releases gases that can shorten vase life.

With proper care, freshly cut, locally grown flowers can last several days to over a week, depending on the varieties included and the time of year.

  • Choosing Irish, seasonal flowers from Buzzing Meadows Farm means:

    • Exceptional freshness. Our flowers are cut to order and haven’t spent days in cold storage or transit, helping them last longer in your home.

    • Supporting local growers. Your purchase directly supports a small Irish flower farm and helps keep sustainable agriculture thriving in rural communities.

    • Lower environmental impact. Irish-grown flowers travel far fewer miles than imported blooms, reducing carbon emissions and energy use.

    • Naturally grown. Our flowers are grown using organic, no-dig methods that support soil health, wildlife, and pollinators — including our much-loved bees.

Buying locally grown flowers is a simple way to enjoy beautiful blooms while making a positive environmental and social choice.

  • Irish flowers follow the natural rhythm of the seasons, which is part of their charm:

    • Spring: Light, fresh blooms that celebrate the start of the growing year.

    • Summer: Abundant colour, texture, and fragrance at the height of the season.

    • Autumn: Rich tones, seedheads, and characterful late blooms until the first frosts.

Because we work with nature rather than against it, flower varieties change throughout the year, and no two bouquets are ever the same. Your arrangement will always reflect what is growing beautifully on the farm at that moment.

Seasonality means fewer chemicals, healthier plants, and flowers that truly belong to the Irish landscape.

  • Each bouquet is unique, guided by what’s freshest and most abundant at the time.

Colours and flower varieties may vary from photos — this is a sign of true seasonality.

Substitutions may occur if certain blooms are unavailable, but will always be of equal or greater value.

Bouquets are wrapped sustainably and designed to feel generous, natural, and joyful.
