You may notice a light white or cloudy film developing on the surface of your beeswax candle over time. This is known as bloom.
Bloom is a completely natural process and a sign of pure, high-quality beeswax. It occurs when natural wax crystals rise to the surface and does not affect how the candle burns.
If you prefer a polished look, bloom can be gently removed by:
Lightly buffing with a soft cloth
Briefly warming the surface with your hands

To enjoy your beeswax candle safely and to get the best burn:
Trim the wick to approximately 5–7 mm before each burn
Always place the candle on a heat-resistant surface
Keep away from draughts for an even, steady flame
Allow the first burn to melt fully across the top to prevent tunnelling
Never leave a burning candle unattended
Keep out of reach of children and pets
Snuff the flame gently rather than blowing it out
